I have been working with a foster mom with a dog named Dolly. She needs a forever home. You can read about her story on my website under Rescue Stories. http://www.doreensdoggiedelights.com/rescue_stories.htm
I post the stories of the rescued dogs that I work with on there so folks can see their progress.
Dolly needs a home in the worst way. She is so friendly and loveable and adaptable. She's not too big and not too small, she's just the right dog for someone. She's used to other dogs, puppies and cats. Please contact me with any inquiry. doreen@doreensdoggiedelights.com |

So far, still no home for Dolly. I keep asking and trying to find someone to take her. The foster parents are ready to get other foster dogs. not cuz she's a problem by far, just cuz she needs a permanent home and they are ready to do what they do...foster. This is the latest picture we have of Dolly. Isn't she pretty? She so deserves a forever home!
Thank you for asking about her. Please help spread the word about her.

Hi Doreen,
Thanks so much for picture of Dolly - a real sweetheart for sure!
As well as your doggie treats business you seem to have a full rescue operation as well. The story on Dolly really pulls at the heart. Let's try to get some more information out about Dolly. I have a bit of confusion as to the actual geographic location of Dolly from the information. It appears you are located in Michigan?.... but Dolly is in a foster home in Illinois? Please clarify.
We are in the process of putting up shelter and rescue organzations by state, and this too will gain more exposure for Dolly's need for a forever home by knowing where she is at.
Also, please do consider adding your newsletter and updates available to your Pet Lovers Action Network web page. This will gain you so much more exposure for the needs of all in your rescue group. The updated information on Dolly in your blog is also a great source of additional attention.
One more tip. I've been through your wonderful site and noticed you also offer newsletter helps for pet groups, also have an additional blog attached to your site. These are valuable resources for our community, please consider adding that information to your blog inside of Pet Lovers Action Network, or creating a new blog for your services, including additional information you have available. You've done a wonderful job of creating some great information we'd love all in the community to read. One of the benefits of adding this additional information inside the Pet Lovers Action Network, will be additional attention by the search engines to your site, by virtue of our internal links, which will create much more traffic for you. Keep up the great work Doreen!

Homeless Animal Rescue Team actually is responsible for Dolly. Jill Kerinzik the rescue's founder is the one that went to MO and picked her up and made arrangements for Dolly's surgery as well as found the foster home for her.
My part is helping find her a permanent home. I watched her when she was a pup on the webcam at Lillian's home. (Dolly's first foster home) and of course became emotionally involved as well as sending out pleas for funds to get her hip and leg fixed.
All I know is she needs and deserves to be spoiled and into her own home once and for all. I wish I could take her but I've had problems with one of mine getting along with the other. I can't take the chance of adding another.
As I've said, Dolly is great with other dogs, cats, kids, men and especially women. She's very submissive and is a lover. Please, if anyone knows someone that wants a young adult dog please contact me: doreen@doreensdoggiedelights.com |
