TLHR Update

Well, it certainly has been busy around here. We are still making it and still very determined to keep our doors open. Several small donations have come in which helped with feed and farrier, every penny helps. Still have our outstanding vet bill but it is getting smaller every week, thanks to my vet for letting me make payments.
We're busy planning our booth for our county fair. We will be sitting in a high traffic area so hopefully we can pull some donations in. We will be doing some face painting and I am trying to figure out how to make "horse" balloons to hand out to the kids. Have no idea what my horses look like but I can definitely say that they "do not" look like horses yet. Still have a couple weeks before the fair so hopefully I can get them figured out. Keeping fingers crossed anyway.
After the fair we will be busy with the final touches for our Charity Auction. Really nervous about this. Never did it before and I have the biggest fear that no one will show up or that only 5 or 10 people will show up. We have over 100 celebrity items to auction off and we are getting some donations from local businesses. We have had one couple donate a boat to us to auction off - not sure how that will go but we are going to give it a shot. I want it to be a huge success so trying to think positive. People definitely seem very interested when I talk about it.... we'll see.
For the last month I have had my 14 month old grandson. Our daughter (his mommy) is pregnant with twins (identical boys) and was put on bedrest. Tiffany was able to stay with us for almost 3 weeks before the doctor said "hospital bound" until the boys are born. She has high blood pressure, anemic and her protein went over 400... so she is in until delivery. So now I am traveling at least once a week to Jacksonville to see her and bring Teddy to see his mommy. It's tough on both of them to be separated but they'll make it. Doctors are hopeing Tiffany can make it to at least 34 weeks (she is 32 weeks as of today), they would prefer her to make it to 36 but it is not likely. When I talked to Tiffany tonight she told me that Baby A weighed 3.14 lbs and Baby B weighed 3.12 lbs and starting to breathe on their own. But she is having contractions! Not painful, she barely feels them and has about 4 or 5 an hour - they are watching her pretty close right now. The doctors said that they "will not" stop labor... so I take my phone with me to bed everynight just in case. Praying everynight that they hold on for another 2 weeks.
That's our update as of right now. Very little rest, always doing something and not sure if I am coming or going at this point but one thing for sure: I love my grandson! He seems to know when nana needs a laugh - he cracks me up with some of the things he does. For the life of me I can't figure out how he comes up with some of the things he does, but that is another story.
Thanks for listening to me or should I say thanks for reading my book. :) I'll make another update soon.
Oh yea, we finally got notice from our landlord, he wants us moved by March 2009 - just another thing to add to my list. Ugh! I need a vacation.
Have a great weekend!
